For all you die hard, fang bangers, HBO’s True Blood Season 5 will premiere on June 2012. So we still have quite a bit to wait, but it’s coming and I just can’t wait. Season 4 ended in much suspense and it was one of the best seasons to date.
As much as I love vampires, I really enjoyed the fact, that a witch almost defeated the vampires, well, she didn’t go down without taking a few with her that’s for sure. And she (Marnie) might be back since dear “Lafayette” is a medium.
We saw quite a few go last season but co -executive producer of True Blood, Raelle Tucker says that there will be surely some new characters and a lot more focus on other characters that haven’t gotten much deserved recognition. Sure hope, “Jessica” is one of them.
As you all well may know “Sookie” (Anna Paquin) did not choose “Eric” (Alexander Skarsgård) or “Vampire Bill” (Stephen Moyer). She choose herself. I must say, I can’t blame her. They’re both irresistibly gorgeous. So there’s still going to be the love triangle drama going on between these three, but not as much focus.
Raelle Tucker says regarding True Blood Season 5: “There will be a very significant, strong, mysterious woman at the center of one of our main stories next year. That will be a very familiar and compelling character. It may be someone you’ve heard of before. Season 5 will explore more fairies, new fairies, fairies in a way you haven’t really seen fairies. We will all, as well as Sookie, come to understand fairies more than in previous seasons.”
That sure sounds like fun. Though isn’t it usually a strong woman that comes to shake up the little town filled with mystical creatures? It’s no wonder they gravitate into “Bon Temps.”
Raelle Tucker also, reveals that “Russell” former king of Mississippi is not dead, so “Vampire Bill” is going to be facing some kind of battle. Good thing Sookie always comes to the rescue with her super, faery powers and not to mention her mind blowing telepathic gift.
